The Role We are looking for a Site Manager with experience in commercial construction and team leadership to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to our high standards. Our long-standing high-profile client has multiple commercial projects on the go, and we need a motivated and committed team member to lead these projects.
As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for organizing all day-to-day activities on site, ensuring our projects are built safely, on time, within budget, and to our high standards. The ideal candidate will enjoy job variation, leading others, reporting, and come with strong commercial experience. Depending on project location, travel to regions will be required.
Responsibilities Read and interpret plans and specifications
Oversee foremen, carpenters, apprentices, and other sub-contractors
Deliver toolbox talks and H&S inductions
Identify and manage site risks as well as monitor QA & QC
Manage client expectations and work collaboratively with all site staff
Qualities and Qualifications Trade carpentry qualification
5+ years' experience in a hands-on carpentry position and site management
Excellent communication and planning skills
Ability to work with a diverse team
Familiar with MS Office, Procore, MS Project
People management and leadership
Strong commitment to best practices in Health & Safety, Sustainability, and Environmental standards.
