New Site Manager role delivering construction work across regional New Zealand, ideally based out of Auckland, Wellington, Hamilton or Christchurch. You will travel to deliver a range of construction work with accommodation, expenses, and tax-free living away allowances paid.
This specialist construction business enjoys a reputation for successful management and delivery of complex construction projects nationally. Their minor works business is growing, and they are recruiting a Site Manager who will work autonomously on regional projects.
The Job
This division enjoys a diverse range of fast-paced projects in the $1m to $3m range. Projects could range from building extensions and fits outs through to building services (HVAC) upgrades, industrial plant improvements, or building maintenance.
Working with an experienced team, your focus will be the ownership, management, and leadership of site work. You will support the planning and site establishment and safely drive the construction program to deliver quality outcomes in a timely manner.
A key focus will be your ability to work closely with clients and specialist consultants and deliver work in live and operating environments.
Required Background
New Zealand experienced site manager, with trade or tertiary qualifications.
Proven success in leading a range of commercial-grade construction projects in New Zealand.
Experienced with project systems and reporting.
Positive and motivating leadership style.
A proven ability to build collaborative working relationships with clients/stakeholders.
Ability to travel away for work from Monday to Friday.
