We are looking for an experienced, hands-on Site Engineer to be involved in a major infrastructure project based near Gore. This is an incredible opportunity for the right person to contribute to the building of New Zealand's second largest wind farm. Candidates need to have the following qualifications and attributes: Degree in Civil Engineering.Experience with design and visualisation software such as AutoCADPrevious experience in the civil earthmoving industry.Ability to ensure all aspects of the project align with engineering and design specifications, industry standards and regulations.Can oversee and manage onsite activities, ensuring adherence to project specifications, codes and safety regulations.Collaborate closely with the project managers to ensure the project runs efficiently and safely.Anaylse and interpret engineering plans, aerial photos, blueprints and technical drawings to plan and guide onsite activities.Identifies potential risks and implements preventative measure to minimise project delays and safety hazards.Have a good work ethic, keen attitude, and take pride in your work.About us Paul Smith Earthmoving specialises in earthmoving, excavation, demolition, drainage, construction, contaminated site remediation, track and road maintenance, landscaping, rock supply, landfill management, trucking, and transport works.
