Working within the Engineering Team, the role of an Electrician at Alliance Lorneville is a crucial part of keeping the plant moving.
The duties include:
Working on a 7-day roster shift basis to ensure all equipment and service systems are running efficiently. Completing preventative, scheduled and breakdown repairs as well as regular maintenance. Maintaining a focus on continuous improvement, whilst working on maximising efficiency across all services on plant. Assist with the installation of new plant equipment and ensure equipment is operating correctly. Monitor the engine room and associated systems, remotely via a PC when required. Communicate effectively with contractors, customers, and other teammates and colleagues. Ensure effective communication to appropriate manager, regarding any electrical issues or disruption to production. Nga painga - what's in it for you? In addition, you will also have:
Recent experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally food manufacturing. A broad-based experience or sound knowledge of plant electrical practices, and policies with a particular emphasis on maintenance operations, plant reliability and health and safety requirements. The ability to work within a team environment but also as an individual. A high level of communication skills both written and verbal. The ability to build effective working relationships with internal customers and contractors utilising clear constructive communication.
