Position: Shared Services Support Analyst Datacom Location: Australia (preference for Central/Eastern Australia due to timezone) and New Zealand. Our WhyDatacom works with organisations and communities across Australia and New Zealand to make a difference in people's lives and help them to use the power of tech to innovate and grow.About the Role (Your Why)The Shared Services Support Analyst is responsible for assisting the Manager – ANZ Shared Services with the development and implementation of business plans and initiatives for the functional area in line with the broader Datacom direction. The Shared Services Support Analyst is the intermediary between end-users and IT delivery to ensure that business/user requirements are delivered in IT solutions. The role works closely with internal stakeholders and is responsible for delivering a customer centric people service across the business. This would be a great position to someone who already has a little experience in this area but the rest we can train you up and is ideal for anyone looking to become a BA or developer who needs to get their foot in the door and start that career path. Note that this role requires the applicant to be a citizen or resident of New Zealand.What You'll DoThe Shared Services Support Analyst is responsible for (but not limited to):Delivery of people and culture data and analytics and implementing the appropriate improvement initiatives.Ensuring the effective use of people and culture initiatives and process compliance across the organisation.Maintaining and administering accurate people information in Datacom's systems and ensuring confidentiality is protected where required.Providing first tier people support across the business.Participating in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure the overall efficiency, functionality and user friendliness of system development/enhancement.Maintaining and administering system level data sets in Datacom's applications.Ensuring processes and documentation are kept up to date.Providing training and assistance to system users following implementation.Contributing to continuous development and optimisation of people systems and procedures to reflect market best practice and legislative requirements.Working to streamline and improve onboarding/off-boarding processes, HR data management and reporting.What You'll BringExperience with supporting the deployment of a range of human resources initiatives within a complex industry.Experience in developing and executing effective programs that support a positive employee experience.Demonstrated experience in identifying, developing and implementing organisational policies and procedures that ensure efficiency and respond to business demands.Administrative background and a high level of IT literacy with an appreciation of both IT and business strategy and business acumen.Knowledge in human resource best practice principles, initiatives and processes.Some knowledge of state, federal and company compliance.Ability to work on difficult assignments requiring self-directed research, judgment in resolving issues or in making recommendations.Proven analytical and problem-solving skills with an ability to exercise judgment in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.Strong organisational skills with the ability to balance workload and conflicting priorities.Why Join Us Here at Datacom?Datacom is one of Australia and New Zealand's largest suppliers of Information Technology professional services.
