The Role As a Settlements Analyst, you will be liaising with Dealers, Cash Team, Derivatives Team and clients along with a range of external financial institutions to facilitate settlement of foreign exchange.
Key responsibilities could include: Completing daily reconciliations of our bank accounts and identifying anything unusualSettlement of foreign exchange dealsManaging the funding of our bank accountsInvestigating discrepancies with internal and external partiesFacilitating payments to our clients, receipting client funds, and following dealer instructionsIdentifying areas of improvement for the Operational Excellence TeamAbout You You will love working with numbers and patterns and enjoy being part of an organisation who cares about our clients and staff. Ideally, you will have a relevant degree in finance, commerce or accounting or 1-2 years' experience in settlements or a similar role and a keen interest in Financial Markets. In addition to this, we are looking for the following experience:
You are an excellent communicator, both written and verbal and be comfortable liaising with a range of internal and external clients.You have great attention to detail, never missing a beat.Business acumen and sound judgement, with the ability to pick up anomalies.You are a fast learner, which can be demonstrated by your ability to pick up new and complicated systems.A great team player, who enjoys working with others.You will have a sound working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.In return, we can offer you a great company and team culture within our fast-growing firm, and exciting long-term career prospects.
