mainly music is looking for a Session Facilitator to run mainly music in 2 Early Childhood Centres in Whangarei. We are offering 5.5 hours per week to run 1 session in each centre but there is potential for growth. Some hours will be worked at the centres on session days. Remaining hours will be worked from home.
You will be someone who has a passion for local mission; someone who wants to bring delight to the lives of whanau. Having a passion for the heart of our mission is more important than experience with mainly music or having an amazing singing voice.
You are confident speaking some Te Reo Maori; singing songs in Maori, saying Karakia at the beginning and end of the session, and using Maori instructional language throughout the session. Experience working with tamariki under 5, in education or community work is an advantage. You will have your own reliable transport and a suitable driver's license.
Training, ongoing development, and support will be provided. Hourly rate is based on experience.
