HTC Ltd. is a values-driven, family-owned company focused on the sale, hire, service, and calibration of specialised tools and equipment for key infrastructure industries across New Zealand, including Power, Electrical, Civil & Structural Construction, and Rail.
We are currently seeking a Service Technician to join the team in our Auckland office to help service our North Island customers. This will be a full-time role. Bring your positive, ready-for-a-challenge attitude and grow your career within a tight-knit team . The role involves liaising directly with existing customers, managing the service process from start to stop on a semi-autonomous basis. We are a small business with a strong culture of teamwork, where we rely on each other to step up and assist when the pressure is on.
Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Maintaining a tidy and neat display and inventory of service stock
Efficient diagnosis and assessment of repair requirements
Customer communications and service reports
Accurate maintenance of customer and tool records
Self-learning and knowledge sharing with team members
The ideal candidate shall possess:
Pride in maintaining an organised, neat, and presentable service area
Attention to detail and computer literacy to maintain records/invoicing of jobs
Excellent memory and a practical nature
Motivated, mechanically-minded, and physically capable – it's a hands-on job
Positive attitude and mindset
Experience in this role or a similar engineering/maintenance position
Knowledge of Hydraulic, Pneumatic, Electrical systems and equipment
