Re/cognition – Auckland airport, North IslandHTC Ltd. is a values-driven, family-owned company focused on the sale, hire, service, and calibration of specialised tools and equipment for key infrastructure industries across New Zealand, including Power, Electrical, Civil & Structural Construction, and Rail.We are currently seeking a Service Technician to join the team in our Auckland office to help service our North Island customers. This will be a full-time role. Bring your positive, ready-for-a-challenge attitude and grow your career within a tight-knit team. The role involves liaising directly with existing customers, managing the service process from start to stop on a semi-autonomous basis. We are a small business with a strong culture of teamwork, where we rely on each other to step up and assist when the pressure is on.Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Maintaining a tidy and neat display and inventory of service stockEfficient diagnosis and assessment of repair requirementsCustomer communications and service reportsAccurate maintenance of customer and tool recordsSelf-learning and knowledge sharing with team membersThe ideal candidate shall possess:Pride in maintaining an organised, neat, and presentable service areaAttention to detail and computer literacy to maintain records/invoicing of jobsExcellent memory and a practical natureMotivated, mechanically-minded, and physically capable – it's a hands-on jobPositive attitude and mindsetExperience in this role or a similar engineering/maintenance positionKnowledge of Hydraulic, Pneumatic, Electrical systems and equipmentSound good?
