With a focus on flexibility and problem-solving, they serve a diverse range of clients, including councils, industrial sites, commercial facilities, and more.

About the Role: As a Service Technician, you'll have the opportunity to make a real impact on water safety in communities. Servicing drinking water treatment plants, you'll be traveling to different sites across the district, right at the forefront of this mission. Whether it's inspecting, maintaining, or troubleshooting equipment, no two days will be the same as you work independently to ensure water quality standards are met.

Responsibilities Include:

Conducting preventative and remedial maintenance on water treatment equipment at various sites across the district.

Installing and commissioning equipment, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.

Providing commissioning support for upgrades and installations, ensuring seamless integration of new systems.

Collaborating with the regional team to ensure all service territories are adequately covered, supporting each other as needed.

Upholding a commitment to health, safety, and environmental stewardship in all aspects of work.

What We're Looking For:

A strong background in services, with knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.

Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients.

Comfort working independently and managing schedules while prioritising tasks effectively.

A clean driver's license and willingness to travel to different sites across the district.

While experience in the water industry is preferred, candidates with a handy/technical background who are eager to learn and grow in their role are welcome.
