Service Manager based in Timaru and IWS Service Manager in Christchurch office.
We are looking for an experienced manager who will lead service delivery through a team of committed professionals, delivering a range of learning support services to children and young people from 0-21 years. They will work with early childhood providers and schools to improve educational outcomes.
This role needs to lead change through leadership and management that influences and motivates others through personal advocacy, vision, and aspiration in a collaborative environment.
Salary range: $115,624 - $139,091 per annum + 3% kiwi saver. The successful candidate will be appointed at a salary which reflects individual skills and experience.

To be successful in this role you will have the following capabilities and competencies:
Experience leading complex teams delivering services.
Develop strong connections and networks across the Ministry, local education providers, iwi, communities, and whanau to achieve educational priorities for the region.
Broker support from across the Ministry and other agencies to deliver integrated work programmes tailored to local needs.
Experience at influencing and leading innovation, people, programmes, and change.
Ability to follow through and finish complex or sensitive tasks and issues.
Ability to use and interpret data including the ability to use information to influence decisions.
Manages and monitors client access systems to ensure service responsiveness is maximised.
Ability to identify positive educational outcomes for parents, principals, and early learning services through effective relationship building.
