What's involved?
As the Delivery Service Manager, you will report directly to the Central Regional Manager. This opportunity invites the chance to lead and develop a team whilst contributing to profitability and growth in line with the company vision and values.
This is a Permanent full-time role, based in our Hamilton depot.
Key accountabilities of the role include, but are not limited to:

Delivery Network management: You will oversee the Waikato and Bay of Plenty's region delivery network and fleet management to maintain operation efficiency. Including, taking control and finding solutions for issues, and aspects of street delivery in collaboration with the Central Regional manager and overseeing fleet management.
You will be responsible for staff development and performance by providing direction and leadership through onboarding, staff training, and development programs.
Maintain a safe workplace by conducting Health and safety meetings with the outcome of strategic and documented action plans.
KPI's and performance management – including conducting reviews and managing run structures.
Collaboration with National operations, National Sales, Customer Support, Finance, and key suppliers.
Administrative responsibilities.

Proficient in facilitating staff training sessions that enhance skills and foster professional growth.
A Problem solver who is able to manage/deal with all issues pertaining to the region's delivery network.
Takes responsibility for own safety and that of other staff and teams.
Positive and enthusiastic team player who thrives on challenges and change.
Strong communication skills.
Flexible and adaptable relative to business requirements.
Prepared to get in and help with the workflow as volumes dictate.
Complete timely reporting on KPIs and other administrative tasks.
