Resource teacher, Secondary (Years 7–15) / wharekura, Resource teacher English, Health and physical education, Learning languages, Mathematics and statistics, Science, Social sciences, Technology, Te reo Maori, The arts We are seeking an exceptional, culturally capable, trustworthy people manager with high integrity to lead the Nga Manu Aroha Cluster on behalf of the students, staff, and whanau working within Cluster Area 9.
This is an exciting opportunity to lead a large RTLB Cluster and showcase your strengths as we embark on a collaborative journey with our communities.
The successful applicant will: Be a New Zealand registered teacher with up-to-date registration.
Demonstrate a thorough understanding of RTLB practices and current research-based knowledge.
Have a proven track record in planning, finances, process improvement, and relationship building.
Be able to establish and maintain positive high trust working relationships within the RTLB team, with cluster schools, and with other stakeholders.
Have excellent communication skills; both oral and written.
Be able to "walk the talk" and get stuck in and do the mahi!
Show respect to other cultures and be an active learner when needing to understand more.
Take responsibility for ensuring that the cluster's collaboratively developed vision, goals, and expectations are focused on continual improvement.
Will have personal high expectations of themselves and others around them.
The Cluster manager is responsible for managing and leading daily the RTLB Cluster and working with key personnel such as principals, kura/school, Ministry of Education, and other agencies.
The Cluster manager will be based at Otahuhu Intermediate.
Full drivers' licence and own vehicle essential.
