About the Role
As a Senior Technical Specialist - Data Centre Networks, you will provide leadership and expertise in managing and optimising our network infrastructure. You'll take ownership of designing and implementing complex network configurations while ensuring the network meets the highest standards of performance and security. In this role, you will lead critical incident response efforts, drive automation initiatives, and collaborate with leadership on long-term network strategy. You'll also mentor junior staff and ensure that network operations align with business objectives, contributing to both immediate and strategic network goals.
About You
You are a seasoned network engineer with 5+ years of experience and hold a CCIE or equivalent certification. You excel in network architecture, troubleshooting, and implementing advanced network solutions. Your experience in process automation, scripting, and orchestration tools allows you to optimize performance and streamline operations. You have a strong leadership presence, and your ability to mentor and guide teams has led to success in large enterprises. You're passionate about innovation, constantly looking for process improvements and new ways to enhance network performance while aligning operations with business goals.
To be successful, you'll bring:

5+ years of experience in network engineering.
CCIE or equivalent certification.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Expertise in network architecture and troubleshooting.
Advanced skills in process and configuration automation, scripting, and orchestration tools.
Significant experience in large enterprise environments, with exposure to ICT tools like ServiceNow and ADO for Agile project management.
