Mo te turanga - About the role As a Senior Talent Acquisition Consultant, you will be instrumental in driving the candidate experience by meticulously assessing business recruitment needs and delivering end-to-end recruitment processes.
You will provide proactive, strategic advice and guidance to hiring managers, candidates, and other key stakeholders, while navigating challenges and taking complete ownership of the candidate and hiring manager recruitment experience.

- What will your day look like?
As a Senior Talent Acquisition Consultant, you will: Partner with a portfolio of key business units, including Funds and Investment Management, to provide industry expertise, understand business needs and execute the delivery of end-to-end recruitment across a range of specialised and strategic business roles.
Work collaboratively with key business stakeholders and act as a trusted advisor to shape successful business outcomes.
Advocate diverse hiring practices and champion ANZ's strategic equity, diversity & inclusion initiatives by actively sourcing candidates from underrepresented groups and coach our hiring community on the positive value of challenging traditional recruitment biases.
Engage proactively in a vibrant and energetic team environment, contributing to the overall success of the NZ Recruitment function through high levels of engagement, team participation and collaborative load-sharing.
Complete reactive sourcing to identify business critical skillsets, build pipelines and meet talent requirements.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement by regularly reviewing and enhancing recruitment processes and best practices.
Secure and maintain data integrity through accurate and up to date records, and robust data governance.
Position yourself as a Subject Matter Expert on all things recruitment, leveraging data analytics and market insights to inform recruitment strategies and improve hiring outcomes.

- What will you bring?
To be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following: Extensive background in internal recruitment and experience working in complex enterprise organisations, preferably in a banking or financial services environment.
Demonstrated understanding of how to attract and engage passive candidates, and proactively source scarce talent in a skill-shortage market.
Superior stakeholder management skills, with the ability to connect and influence a range of personalities, and coach hiring managers on recruitment best practices.
Ability to adapt, multi-task and prioritise to ensure that deadlines are met.
A continuous and pragmatic problem solver that can act collaboratively to work through the issues within and across teams.
A passion and curiosity for candidates and employees, their needs and wants, putting them at the centre of everything you do.
Proven experience recruiting in a Funds, Finance and/or Investment environment would be highly advantageous for this role.
You're not expected to have 100% of these skills.
