About the Role | Mo te Turanga Housing first is an exciting collaborative programme that provides housing and wrap-around supports to people experiencing chronic homelessness in the Auckland Region.
We are looking for a full-time Senior Property Manager who can join our Auckland Team and share our passion for ending homelessness. Property management experience is preferred. Duties | Mahi As the Senior Property Manager, you will have a key role within a multi-disciplinary Housing First (HF) Team with the following responsibilities:
Managing the training of new and existing HF Auckland team members.Responsible for managing the health and safety programme for the Auckland HF team and be a member of the APT Health and Safety committee.Be the Auckland lead for the investigation and implementation of a new property management system.Support the financial reporting of the Auckland Housing First programme including leasing arrears management and right-off recommendations and the recovery of meth claims.Manage the accurate monthly and annual reporting for the statement of service performance.Ensure the property management system (Palace or other) database is accurate and up-to-date.Oversight of all Tenancy Tribunal matters, process and protocols to ensure staff understand the process and are fully prepared to achieve the best possible outcome.Skills and Qualifications | Pukenga & Wheako Experience in property management.Preferably a qualification in property management.Working with social housing tenants.Highly motivated individual who enjoys a challenge.Amazing organizational skills.Mentorship & Leadership to provide support and guidance for Property Managers.Understand the Treaty of Waitangi and be committed to the principles of Housing First.A Full driver's license.Possess strong organisational skills with the ability to meet a demanding workload, leveraging creativity and innovation.Culture | Ahurea At The Three Trusts', Arohanui, Maia, Whakaute & Ngakau Pono (compassion, courage, respect, & integrity) are our guiding values.
