This is a fixed term opportunity (until June 30, 2025) for an experienced leader in broadcast current affairs to build upon the successful first season the programme . The role includes: Driving the show onwards, in line with the kaupapa established in season one of the show, consistent with RNZ's Charter and its strategic objectives Working alongside the host, a producer and RNZ staff to get the programme to air with the highest editorial and technical standards Creating and demonstrating a high-performance culture Driving a truly multimedia product that gets the best out of the programme to find new and diverse audiences where they are This role requires top organisational skills, creative flair and a cool head under pressure. You'll be responsible for empowering the team to make interesting, energised and agenda-setting programmes . You'll have a track record for positive, constructive leadership and an intuitive sense for news. We need you to work quickly and decisively, with clear and reliable communication within the team, across RNZ and with external partners.
