Senior Procurement Co-Ordinator

Purchasing, Procurement & Inventory (Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics) We are looking for an experienced senior procurement programme coordinator for a large scale utilities provider. Our client is managing a significant RFP for services and looking for a person with extensive procurement experience, possibly from the IT sector, or other infrastructure sectors to be the central person in the procurement process. You will need experience with probity, governance, reporting, communications and generally keeping the project on track. There is a need for this person to "hit the ground running", therefore you will be a senior coordinator able to draw on your existing experience to add value from the start. This is a new role joining an existing project team established specifically for this important programme of works. This role is largely office based because your team will be around you most of the time and you will be central to whatever is the priority of the day.This role will suit an experienced procurement professional that has held a pivotal role to ensure the project remains on track and is delivered on time and to budget. The team is energetic and high performing with a modern management team able to solve problems and make decisions quickly.
