Senior Procurement Specialist - Commercial I am working with a dedicated public service organisation to find an experienced senior procurement or commercial specialist. Joining a tight-knit team of 8 experienced procurement professionals, you will be rewarded with a diverse workload and opportunities that can really challenge and develop your skills.
In this role , you will work on the end-to-end procurement process for a number of diverse procurement projects. Additionally, you will lead the implementation of the Supplier Diversity Strategy and achieve broader outcomes and best practice procurements.
In addition to this you will:
Design, lead and guide the end-to-end procurement process.
Contribute to the procurement planning and sourcing in order to deliver great outcomes, achieve public value, and manage risk for the organisation.
Provide advice and guidance to internal stakeholders.
Become a trusted advisor for strategic procurement and commercial standards & practices.
Drive organisational effectiveness.
Support in reviewing the supplier diversity strategy.
The ideal candidate will have experience as a senior procurement specialist or a commercial business partner with proven experience in managing the end-to-end procurement process.
You will have experience in the following:
Identifying procurement risks and opportunities to develop sourcing strategies.
Implementing an organisation-wide Supplier Diversity Strategy.
Identifying and leading continuous improvement activities.
Guiding stakeholders on best practice supplier relationship and contract management.
Building relationships & confidence with internal stakeholders.
Supporting commercial capability development.
What can you expect?
Salary range: $125,000 to $140,000, depending on experience.
