Te turanga - The role There is an opportunity for a Senior Portfolio Manager to step into the Portfolio Management team.
The person undertaking this role will be tasked with ensuring that our balance sheet is managed effectively and efficiently to meet our policy goals.
You will be part of an experienced team responsible for implementing monetary policy, transacting in foreign and domestic financial markets, and providing high-quality analysis and advice in relation to liquidity management, reserves management and market functioning.
O pukenga - About you As a Senior Portfolio Manager, you will have experience working within the financial markets space and will have the ability to understand and analyse financial markets.
You will have; At least three years' experience or equivalent relevant experience within the financial markets industry Strong policy and analytical skills, and your relevant expertise will allow you to optimally manage the risks of a central bank balance sheet to enable us to achieve our policy goals Excellent relationship management skills and the ability to build effective working relationships across varying levels of the organisation The ability to show initiative, and take an active approach to problem solving A collaborative approach and an inclusive communication style.
