Reporting to the Manager Finance Business Partnering, you'll work closely with Deputy Chief Executives and their leadership teams, serving as a trusted advisor and the critical link between Finance and the broader business. Your insights will guide long-term financial planning, strategic initiatives, and robust governance, ensuring ACC's financial strategies are aligned with our ambitious goals.Wellington based.What you'll be doing:Strategic Partnering: Act as a trusted advisor to business unit leaders, providing insightful financial analysis and guidance to drive strategic decision-making and enhance business performance.Innovative Solutions: Deliver finance business partnering services through a creative and pragmatic approach, developing solutions that address complex business challenges.Leadership in Financial Strategy: Provide leadership in strategy development, long-term financial planning, and the creation of performance metrics that align with ACC's strategic objectives.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to integrate financial planning into the development of strategic initiatives, business cases, and investment opportunities.Governance and Compliance: Ensure financial strategies incorporate macroeconomic trends, risk management, and compliance with regulatory standards.Performance Reporting: Deliver comprehensive, timely, and relevant financial and non-financial reporting to support informed decision-making and strategic direction.Cultural Leadership: Embed ACC's Nga Pae Arahi principles into all aspects of financial management, actively contributing to our commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi and our enterprise strategy.Team Leadership: Lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing finance team, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and continuous improvement.Ko wai koe | About youChartered Accountant (CA) Qualification: Essential for guiding financial strategy with expertise.Extensive Strategic Finance Experience: Proven track record in strategic financial planning, forecasting, and business partnering within large, complex organisations.Leadership and Team Development: Experience in leading and developing teams, with the ability to drive performance in a collaborative environment.Public Sector Expertise: Understanding of the public sector financial management environment, including government processes and regulations would be a bonus.Innovative Problem-Solving: Ability to deliver creative, pragmatic solutions to business challenges.Influential Leadership: Experience in influencing senior leadership and driving strategic initiatives.Strong Communication Skills: Ability to clearly convey complex financial information to a diverse audience, including executive-level stakeholders.Cultural Competence: Proven ability to integrate Te Tiriti o Waitangi into financial strategy and operations.At ACC, we offer more than just a job; we offer a career where you can make a real difference.
