Led by our Chief Economist and Manager, our friendly Economics team is responsible for providing economic advice and economic appraisal services across the Ministry. Our goal is to enable the delivery of excellent advice and provide insights derived from the latest evidence.You will need to be confident working across the organisation to support and influence policy through economic advice. You will lead economic and cost-benefit analyses on a range of transport matters and provide technical review of draft policy documents (including cost recovery and regulatory impact statements) prepared by other areas of the Ministry.
