Our offices are based in Seaham and Bishop Auckland and although we work flexibly, it is envisaged that this role will require both an offsite and onsite presence as per business need when required.About the RoleThe Senior People Advisor role is an operational expert providing day-to-day advice, guidance and coaching to the business. Acting as a support to the Strategic People Partners in the delivery of an efficient and effective service to their client groups. Along with the People Advisors, the Senior People Advisor will be the first point of contact for all people-related advice and support. As a people expert, the Senior People Advisor will support transformational projects to enhance colleagues' experience and aid in the delivery of a high-performing culture across believe housing.The successful candidate will:Work closely with and support the People Advisors to provide an efficient customer-centric service to the directorates.Coach line managers through first and second-line people-related issues, concerns and development needs to enable and empower them to manage their people effectively and consistently.Provide HR advice and support when required in the management of casework including investigations into conduct, capability and grievances.Provide advice, guidance and administrative support on job design, organisational change, restructuring and redeployment processes, advising on best practice, procedures and appropriate legislation.Act as a change agent for major and minor transformation projects and programmes to ensure a seamless and effective implementation and sustainable embedding of all activities.Our people are our greatest asset which is why we value you, encourage you, look after you, and empower you.As well as a competitive salary of £42,023 – £43,337 per annum pro-rata some of our top benefits and rewards include:31-33 days of annual leave pro-rataWorking the believe way allows us to be more agile in the ways we work and creates a great work-life balanceBelieve housing is committed to providing a first-class pension offer with employer contributions into the local government pension scheme (LGPS), which is currently equivalent to 27.1% of your gross salaryUp to four days paid volunteering leave each year.If you believe that you demonstrate our values and can bring something special to this role, then apply now.
