There has never been a better time to join the Fletcher Building family where our people are proud to say, "We made IT".About the role:The Senior Payroll Partner role is to ensure the accurate and timely processing of all Payroll related tasks in accordance with legislation, contractual terms and conditions, company procedures and Business Unit requirements. This role is responsible for managing end to end payroll for weekly and monthly staff which includes management of time & attendance inputs, providing guidance and advice where required, providing support and cover for payroll team when required, payroll processing in our Chris21 payroll system, maintaining employee data, managing and providing advice on compliance with all relevant legislation and providing a high level of customer service to our business and its employees.About you:You are a strong team player that is organized with excellent communication skills and can build strong relationships with all key stakeholders. Your previous experience with managing high volume weekly/monthly payrolls which run end to end is key to being successful in this role. Your experience will include checking of hourly rates, leave rates, leave taken versus timesheets processed. Previous experience with manual calculations, Holidays Act, and reconciliations are a must.To be successful, your prior experience will demonstrate:Over 5 years of payroll experience with collective employment agreements, with high volumes, within New Zealand business environments.You have a strong attention to detail, coupled with good time management skills.Chris21 Payroll with Workforce Software time and attendance preferred.Excellent knowledge of Employment Legislation and New Zealand Holidays Act.Ability to perform off system payroll calculations to ensure system configuration delivers expected outcomes.NZPPA Certification Level 3 is preferred but not essential.Be a part of a dynamic team where your expertise will drive our payroll processes and enhance our business operations.
