About the Role As a Global Leader in material handling automation, Daifuku Oceania continues to experience growth. Daifuku Oceania is multi-disciplined and operates across multiple sites and offices in more than eight countries.
We are seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer to design and implement Network systems for Daifuku Oceania's Enterprise IT and Projects IT teams. Underpinning this will be a hands-on technical approach with strong customer service and quality ethos.
Based in our Auckland Office, you will be part of the Enterprise IT team and also work across Airport, Self Service, and Intralogistics projects. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Design, validate, implement, and manage IT solutions to ensure their stability, scalability, and security. This includesEnterprise backboneFirewallsLoad BalancersRoutersVPN solutionsWi-Fi networksProject sitesActively participate in ISO9001 and 27001 certification maintenanceReport on and manage infrastructure for corporate devices, asset management, licensing reporting, software deployment, and remote supportProvide day-to-day IT support for Daifuku Oceania team members and customers globallyDocument and maintain Daifuku Oceania corporate IT policies and proceduresHelp with the deployment of future IT projects and initiativesAbout You As an experienced Senior Network Engineer, you need strong interpersonal skills, a logical approach to problem-solving, and strong analytical skills in both diagnosis and problem resolution.
You bring the following qualifications and experience to this position:
Computer Science degree or equivalent3+ years in a Senior Network Engineering roleIn-depth hands-on technical knowledge of IT Networks, Firewall, switching, and wireless solutionsNetwork infrastructure design, switching and routing technologies, routing protocolsLoad balancing (HA Proxy)In-depth understanding and experience with cloud-based services, technologies, and solutions from a networking perspectiveExperience with various physical and virtual devices and network appliances in relation to network solutionsProven experience providing remote request and incident support along with problem managementAbout Us You'll be joining a business with over 13,000 team members worldwide, delivering material handling automation solutions to our customers.
