Management Accounting & Budgeting (Accounting)The Company:My client is a trusted name in New Zealand and has been operating for over 50 years. This well-known retail group has stores located across the country and has grown their brand in recent years.The Role:Working for one of the group's most exciting business units and reporting to the Group CFO, the Senior Management Accountant will have a key focus on completing the budgeting and forecasting cycles, as well as Board reporting, financial and commercial analysis, and month-end tasks.Responsibilities include:Preparation and analysis of monthly and annual resultsProviding commentary and presenting financial results to the senior leadership teamAssist with annual budgets and the quarterly forecasting processLiaise with external Tax AccountantsManage daily cashflow requirementsAssist and perform in other ad hoc tasks around the businessAbout you:To be considered for this position, you must be a fully qualified accountant (ideally trained within a large professional services firm). It will be highly advantageous if you have experience in, or knowledge of, the retail industry.
