Join our team at Babcock NZ and play a crucial role in implementing and supporting the People Strategy for Babcock Australasia.
Based in Devonport, you will work within the People & Safety business unit, reporting to the Head of Human Resources.
You will facilitate and support business units by delivering strategic and operational HR plans and projects.

Key responsibilities Implement and support strategic and operational HR plans and projects within business units.
Develop HR activities tailored to customer groups while aligning with overall HR solutions.
Enhance skills, knowledge, and behaviours across the business to support company values.
Provide high-level advice on HR policies and employment legislation.
Present business information to line managers based on HR administration services.
Analyse data to support HR and business decision-making.
Manage sensitive information professionally and confidentially.
About you With tertiary qualifications in HR and at least 3-5 years of HR Business Partnering experience, you excel at translating HR strategy into actionable business goals.
Your strong understanding of change management and employee relations is essential.
Your ability to manage industrial relations, coupled with extensive experience in project and change management will make you a crucial part of the Senior Leadership team.
Your stakeholder management skills and effectiveness in complex, matrix organizations will be key to your success in the role.
You will also demonstrate a professional approach to managing sensitive concerns and a proven track record of providing clear HR guidance.
Key requirements The successful candidate must be able to achieve Confidential Vetting (CV) Security Clearance via NZDF.
Proven ability to translate HR strategy into business goals.
Strong understanding of change management and employee relations.
Experience in industrial relations and project management.
Excellent stakeholder management and engagement skills.
Ability to analyse and present HR data for decision-making.
Strong communication skills for advising on HR policies and practices.
Professional and confidential handling of sensitive information.
