Senior Human Resources Business Partner - AucklandAuckland, Full-timeDescriptionWe have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Human Resources Business Partner to lead HR in our New Zealand office in Auckland. This role will report to the HR Director based in the UK and will have a dotted reporting line into the APAC Managing Director. The primary focus of the role will be to provide HR advice across a range of HR generalist functions utilising your business acumen and knowledge to address HR issues and drive initiatives with senior management for the benefit of the business.ResponsibilitiesProvide coaching to managers and employees on a diverse range of strategic and operational people and culture issuesSupport organisational change/design reviews of structure, processes, policies, and systemsLead projects and implement new procedures and process improvements in partnership with the wider teamMaintain an in-depth knowledge of legislative standards to guide management and employees and ensure regulatory compliance in all employment aspectsManage and resolve complex employee relations issues and conduct effective investigationsPlay a key role in creating a positive work environment that fosters employee engagement, wellbeing and productivityDrive and support talent development, compensation reviews, succession planning and reward/recognition programsManage the recruitment and onboarding processOrganise and maintain HR records, including reporting of HR metricsOversee the payroll process to ensure timely delivery and regulatory complianceResponsible for the delivery of Health & Safety and Welfare programs and initiativesOffice management, liaising with external partners like office landlord, insurance vendors, utility providers and equipment suppliersRequirementsIdeally you will have a proven background in a similar Human Resources Business Partner role. You enjoy a challenge, have a strong ability to influence stakeholders and are passionate about building a positive work culture.Experience operating as a HR generalist across all areas of the employee life cycleExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAnalytical and goal orientedDemonstrable experience with HR metricsStrong understanding of New Zealand employment legislationProven track record of handling complex employee relations issuesExperience with change management and the capacity to review and improve practicesStrong business acumen and a commercial approach to align HR strategies with businessStrong ethical standards and commitment to confidentialityHighly developed interpersonal skills and able to liaise effectively across a variety of disciplines, levels and audiencesBroad experience and mastery of technology systemsAbility to work with detail but understand the bigger pictureBenefitsBonus Scheme: based on annual company performanceHolidays: 4 weeks per year + Stat HolidaysGym membership contribution or contribution to other fitness goalsMental Health supportRegular team events and social activitiesFantastic office environment in a great location
