We are seeking an experienced HR Professional who can bring their previous advisory skills and knowledge to support our managers to help drive our culture and the teams' success.This is a newly created role where you will be the sole Senior HR Advisor based up North. However, you will have a strong support network with the wider People and Culture team who are based in Christchurch. This is a pivotal role in our team, so having previous HR experience and an ability to communicate well in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment is a must. As we have multi-sites across Mangere and Pokeno, travel to both sites will be required to provide on-the-ground support.Main Responsibilities:Provide an HR and people-focused lens while guiding and supporting across the function.Provide accurate advice on HR activities and processes including performance management and disciplinary.Drive workforce planning and align HR strategies with business objectives.Partner with the HR Business Partner and the Talent Acquisition Business Partner. Provide support to the in-house recruitment services across the organisation for the full life cycle of the recruitment process.Support people leaders to enhance their strategic impact.Engage in general HR activities, fostering a strong, development-focused culture.This role is a great stepping stone for someone looking to expand their HR advisory skills in preparing for an HR Business Partnering role. If you are keen to work with a forward-thinking company where you will prioritise team development, stability, and cultural excellence, then we want to hear from you!Skills and Experience:To be considered for this role, you will require:Experience in the Employment Relations Act, Privacy Act, and other relevant employment legislation.Demonstrated knowledge of HR systems and processes.Strong communication skills including the ability to persuade and influence at all levels up to senior level to obtain optimal outcomes.Strong collaboration skills and a strategic mindset.Sound writing skills and the ability to write for specific audiences, and confident presentation and/or training delivery skills.A tertiary education in HR or related field is highly regarded in this role, as is previous HR and ER experience.
