The Story Join this kiwi SaaS business in the middle of a transformation project aimed at migrating and updating legacy .NET code to modern platforms. You will be crucial in driving this migration and ensuring the updated systems meet the company's high standards for performance and scalability. Company Profile This leading SaaS company, based on the North Shore of Auckland, is known for its dynamic and collaborative work environment. They leverage latest technologies to deliver high-end solutions. Innovation, continuous improvement, and employee development are central to the company's ethos as they undertake large-scale transformation projects. Your Role Spend 70% of your time on backend development using C# and .NET. Migrate and update existing legacy .NET code. Work within an Azure-based environment, ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, and performant. Leverage Azure DevOps for continuous integration and delivery pipelines. Collaborate with the team to question existing processes, suggest improvements, and present alternative solutions. Your Fit Extensive experience with backend development in C# and .NET. Proven expertise with Azure, particularly Azure DevOps for CI/CD. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to improve and question existing processes. Comfortable working on legacy code migration projects and making strategic decisions for long-term growth. Understanding of frontend JavaScript frameworks such as React, Vue, or Angular. Excellent communication skills, able to work closely with senior leadership and technical teams. *Applicants must be legally entitled to work in New Zealand.
