The Story
Our client is embarking on a significant technological upgrade, focusing on modernising its cloud infrastructure and enhancing DevSecOps processes. As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in this journey by setting up and maintaining cloud systems, optimising data pipelines, and implementing robust security practices.

Your Role:
Set up, support, and maintain core technology systems and DevSecOps processes.
Implement security best practices in the cloud infrastructure and development environment.
Proactively monitor cloud systems for errors, security threats, and performance issues.
Develop and optimise databases, ensuring they are well-structured and performant.
Collaborate with the technology team to deliver new capabilities, improve security practices, and meet data requirements.
Act as the system owner for security, disaster recovery, and backup procedures.
Mentor and upskill team members in DevSecOps best practices and technology solutions.
Your Fit
5+ years of experience working with Azure cloud infrastructure.
Strong expertise in relational databases such as MSSQL, Postgres, or MySQL.
Knowledge of DevSecOps best practices, including security operations and disaster recovery.
Experience working with database and data warehouse systems OR an interest in learning and working with them in the future.
Familiarity with Azure-managed services, including identity, monitoring, logging, networking, and scaling.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collaborate in Agile environments.
A proactive and collaborative mindset, with a desire to mentor and upskill team members.
