Senior Developer

Our client is seeking a Senior Developer to join their team in Christchurch. This is a great opportunity to join one of the City's largest and most reputable technology employers on an exciting integration project. This role requires excellent technical, diagnostic, and troubleshooting skills, along with strong leadership and organisational abilities.
What you'll do:
You will be working on an ongoing integration project, and be comfortable communicating ideas and objectives to the wider team. The scope of work is currently focused on integrating legacy based applications into a new solution, so experience in a similar area would be advantageous. The scope of this role would cover a number of different areas of the organisation so being able to communicate effectively with a variety of differing stakeholders would also be part of your responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities: Lead integration work in line with agreed service and system designPlan and drive software construction activities to project timelinesManage the adoption and use of a robust integration framework.Mentor junior members of the development teamReview and verify designs against specificationsLiaise with project Delivery Leads to ensure regular reporting of progress and timely deliverySkills and Experience: Extensive experience building applications using modern tools and frameworks.Experience working across a large scale integration project.Use of unit and end-to-end testing frameworks.Understanding and experience with data model design, database development and management.This is a great opportunity for a well-rounded developer to join an established organisation with an excellent track record.
