We work with an experienced hygienist, Ness. Our jobs are intense but very rewarding.The RoleAs our Senior Dental Assistant/Coordinator, you will ideally have a background in dentistry. You will support our experienced specialists/hygienist across a range of procedures, with key responsibilities including preparation, patient administration, and follow-up care. This role extends beyond the typical duties of a dental assistant, providing the opportunity to become an integral part of the team. We're looking for someone with enthusiasm, a willingness to learn, and a commitment to achieving excellent outcomes for our patients.Daily responsibilities include:Chairside assistance during dental procedures and treatmentsAdministration functions such as clinical notes and treatment plansCollaborating with the administration team to ensure smooth day-to-day operationsPreparation of instrument trays and sterilisationProviding patients' post-treatment care and follow-upYou'll have:Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsGood organisational skills and attention to detailExperience using a variety of software packagesProficient in managing invoicing and payment processingA keen and eager attitude to learnA team-oriented mindsetAbility to start work at 8:30am each morningApplicants must have NZ residency or a current and valid working visaWe value integrity, hard work, grit, positivity, and warmth.
