We are seeking more passionate Support Workers - Te Whai Oranga to join us in Otepoti Dunedin. 
This is an exciting time to join Comcare as we develop and deliver services in Dunedin, supporting people who need unique and tailored responses. 
Comcare is an established Mental Health and Housing provider offering rich and diverse range of Mental Health Support Services, Housing and Housing Support Services. 
About the role The role of a Support Worker - Te Whai Oranga is to find positive creative solutions for people who have complex issues that create barriers for successful community living and supports them to problem solve a pathway forward to independent living. 
These are full time permanent roles and planned to work through a roster pattern.  
About you Applicants for this role would ideally have sound knowledge of the Mental Health/Social Services support systems. You will also have a cultural awareness, knowledge of, and demonstrable commitment to, the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi. 
Flexible, adaptable, and confident you will be able to make well considered decisions. You also understand the need for strong professional boundaries and a good work ethic.?? 
It is desirable to hold the New Zealand Certificate in Health and Wellbeing - Level 4 (or a recognised equivalent) or be willing to undertake study towards this qualification with our support. 
To apply for this role, you will need to currently have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa. You will also need a current NZ Drivers Licence
