About Us: We are seeking expressions of interest from a hospital-based dermatologist for acute conditions and outpatient care, dedicated to providing top-quality healthcare to our diverse patient population. In this role, you will be responsible for the dermatology service in a supportive and dynamic environment, diagnosing and treating acute skin conditions, conducting skin examinations, performing minor surgical procedures, and providing expert skincare advice. We aim to establish a small dermatology department within Southland Hospital to cater to the dermatological needs across the Southern Region of the South Island. The primary focus will be on providing outpatient clinics for referred patients, including pediatric cases, and collaborating with specialist teams in Dunedin Hospital for complex conditions. Clinics will be held in Dunedin and Invercargill, requiring some travel. About You: Training and postgraduate qualifications as a Medical Dermatologist Vocational registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand as a Dermatologist or eligibility for Provisional Vocational Registration Salary Range: This role falls within the ASMS Collective Agreement, with a salary ranging from Step 1 ($185,380) to Step 15 ($267,980 per annum pro rata), based on experience and allowances. #J-18808-Ljbffr
