Auckland Council is seeking a highly skilled Senior Contractor Safety Specialist to join our Health, Safety, and Wellbeing team. In this pivotal role, you will spearhead the development and implementation of initiatives to embed the Contractor Safety Management Framework throughout our organisation.

This role requires our ideal applicant to have an in-depth understanding of the operational implementation of contractor safety. You will likely have a background in construction within large, complex, and potentially political organizations.
We will be looking for specific experience with the key role requirements:
Relationship ManagementTechnical knowledge and expertise regarding contractor safety management, and occupational health, safety and wellbeingProject management, planning and prioritisation skillsAbility to effectively communicate across a wide audience and to adapt messaging, format and style to meet audience needsAuckland Council is one of the largest local authorities in the South Pacific providing essential services and facilities to more than 1.5 million people.
