Senior Commercial Quantity Surveyor

Our client are main contractor specialising in commercial and builds in Auckland.
We are hiring for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead and run their own projects Multiple in progress projects require attention, plenty to go at from day 1 The role: As a member of the QS team you will be responsible for identifying and developing opportunities for the company to maximise its gross margin by skilfully preparing and presenting estimates and tenders for projects and development proposals.
You will be administrating projects to ensure they are completed on time, achieve quality and meet budget.
Key responsibilities include, but may not be limited to: Estimating and procurement Subcontractor management Tender preparation and analysis Managing pricing of a tender process Ensuring profitable outcomes on jobs across Auckland Experience needed:  Passionate, enthusiastic and self-motivated Forward thinker and able to take initiative Background in Quantity Surveying/Estimating The ability to work autonomously  Good understanding of the New Zealand construction market Experience working on various sized projects Excellent communication, both written and spoken as you will be dealing with key stakeholders Benefits:  Competitive remuneration dependent on your experience ($125-165k) Work alongside an experienced senior team who will help you enhance your reputation!
