Mechanical Engineer / Senior Mechanical EngineerFull timeRoleContribute to the strategic plan of the sector and foster strong client relationships, managing selected clients.Evaluate, recommend, and implement technological advancements for the team and associated systems and processes.Lead Mechanical Engineering designs and provide design oversight for specific projects.Skills and Experience:Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical or equivalent.CPEng accreditation preferred or eligible for application.Clean Driver's License.6-8 years of HVAC design experience.Proficiency in IES or Carrier E20 thermal analysis, BIM, and AutoCAD.Familiarity with H1 building thermal calculations and reporting.Previous experience in client-facing roles, attending project design meetings with clients and other consultants.Effective collaboration skills with internal and external stakeholders at all organisational levels.Preferably, experience in healthcare facility design and hydraulics.Auckland Council registration as a Produce Statement author is advantageous.Prior exposure to Project Management and Business Development activities is desirable.Why us?WSP has an exciting opportunity for either an Intermediate or Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic Building Services team.
