You will be reporting to the Director Change Management Office. Your focuses will be on our 'Better for Nature' programme which brings together our key organisational design and transformation work into a single, coordinated and sequenced programme and in supporting the change management practice.You will also be involved in supporting other change initiatives across the business. The position will be focused on:Delivering technical change analysis and guidance in various formats tailored to diverse audiences and objectives working either alongside a change manager or as a standalone change practitioner.Analysing impacts of changes and developing comprehensive communication and training plans with support from our comms and change partners.Supporting the Change Manager with and/or leading change management activities for various projects.Collaborating with stakeholders to assess current processes and identify areas for improvement.Facilitating workshops and meetings to gather feedback and promote engagement with impacted teams and users.Monitoring and reporting on the progress of change initiatives and readiness.Coaching and supporting project teams and stakeholders throughout the change process.Skills and ExperienceYou will have a solid background in change management in a large-scale, complex setting and strong analytical abilities. It goes without saying that this is a people-centric role; it interacts with a diverse range of stakeholders at all levels, so it is important you're able to build and manage relationships.You will also bring the following skills and experience:A tertiary qualification and/or equivalent knowledge from experience, e.g. a bachelor's degree in a field such as Business Administration, Management, Organisational Psychology, or Project Management.Three+ years of experience in change management or a similar role.Certifications or equivalent knowledge of project management methodology such as Prince2, CCMP, or CMI.Familiarity with change management methodologies and best practices, such as Prosci, ADKAR, or similar models.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.Experience with data analysis and reporting tools.Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities in complexity and ambiguity.Deep understanding of human elements involved in the change process, along with empathy for the needs and concerns of professionals and communities.About the TeamThe Change Management Office (CMO) sits within the Organisation Support Group, with the aim of improving DOC's change capability and shifting the dial from people feeling like change happens to them to a future where people feel they're helping to lead change.
