He angitutanga | About the role
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Senior Change Analyst to support change and facilitate change management initiatives throughout DOC; you will be reporting to the Director Change Management Office.
Your focuses will be on our 'Better for Nature' programme which brings together our key organisational design and transformation work into a single, coordinated and sequenced programme and in supporting the change management practice. You will also be involved in supporting other change initiatives across the business.
The position will be focussed on:

delivering technical change analysis and guidance in various formats tailored to diverse audiences and objectives working either alongside a change manager or as a standalone change practitioner
analysing impacts of changes and develop comprehensive communication and training plans with support from our comms and change partners
supporting the Change Manager with and/or lead change management activities for various project
collaborating with stakeholders to assess current processes and identify areas for improvement
facilitating workshops and meetings to gather feedback and promote engagement with impacted teams and users
monitoring and reporting on the progress of change initiatives and readiness
coaching and supporting project teams and stakeholders throughout the change process.

You will have a solid background in change management in a large-scale, complex setting and strong analytical abilities. It goes without saying that this is a people centric role; it interacts with a diverse range of stakeholders at all levels, so it is important you're able to build and manage relationships.
You will also bring the following skills and experience:

A tertiary qualification and/or equivalent knowledge from experience, e.g. a bachelor's degree in a field such as Business Administration, Management, Organisational Psychology, or Project Management.
Three+ years of experience in change management or similar role.
Certifications or equivalent knowledge of project management methodology such as Prince2, CCMP or CMI.
Familiarity with change management methodologies and best practices, such as Prosci, ADKAR, or similar models.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
Experience with data analysis and reporting tools.
Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities in complexity and ambiguity.
Deep understanding of human elements involved in the change process, along with empathy for the needs and concerns of professionals and communities.

Mo te tima | About the team
The Change Management Office (CMO) sits within the Organisation Support Group, the aim of this small but mighty team is to improve DOC's change capability and to shift the dial from people feeling like change 'happens' to them to a future where people feel they're helping to lead change. The CMO is the steward of DOCs change methodology, tools and materials utilised to deliver effective change management approaches across all change activity. It also has accountability to the investment governance groups for ensuring good change outcomes.

The salary range for this position is $92,450 - $116,985 with the starting salary of the successful applicant being based on their relevant skills and experience.
Eligibility to work in New Zealand is mandatory – this includes holding a valid work visa that covers the whole period of employment.
