Job Summary Our Sydney based client is currently recruiting for a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst to join their team on a permanent basis.
Job Description Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with multifunctional teams to comprehend business needs and transform them into actionable insights.
Build and sustain robust Business Intelligence (BI) solutions to facilitate data-driven decision-making processes.
Analyze intricate datasets to discern trends, patterns, and opportunities for enhancement.
Devise and implement efficient reporting tools and dashboards for diverse stakeholders.
Offer strategic recommendations grounded in data analysis to align with business objectives.
Stay informed about industry trends and advancements in business intelligence and analytics.
Oversee the entire reporting lifecycle, from gathering requirements to translation, design, build, testing, visualization, deployment, and documentation.
Provide effective coaching, mentoring, and training to BI team members.
Manage stakeholder relationships adeptly to understand goals and priorities within the Roadside business.
Act as the second-in-command (2IC) to the Data Manager.
Desired Skills & Experience:
A minimum of seven years of experience with responsibilities for reporting and analysis.
Practical experience with GCP, Google Tag Manager, GA, and Github.
Proficiency in advanced SQL skills and managing large and complex data sets.
Demonstrated strong analytical capabilities, business acumen, problem-solving skills, and a meticulous eye for detail.
Ability to approach problems with a broad and critical mindset, applying business and commercial insight to devise solutions.
Skillful in utilizing data for storytelling to influence stakeholders.
Dedication to excellence and a results-oriented approach, with a constant focus on customer needs.
A self-motivated individual with initiative, thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic, team-oriented environment.
Strong strategic stakeholder engagement and management skills, complemented by highly developed planning and organizational abilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with effective data presentation capabilities for both business and technical audiences.
Possession of a tertiary-related qualification in computer science, statistics, marketing, or a relevant IT discipline.
