Senior Audit ManagerMy Client is an established audit and accounting practice seeking an experienced Audit Manager or Senior Manager to lead the entire audit engagement from end to end. This is a permanent full-time position based at their Central Auckland offices.
The role As Audit Manager you will manage the entire audit process from resource planning through to completion of audit engagements while ensuring best practice is embedded.You will have the opportunity to take an active role in the business development and tendering process while managing a diverse client portfolio.There will be other opportunities to be involved in management duties including staff performance and appraisals.There will also be opportunities to engage in Advisory assignments, which could range from technical advisory pieces to due diligence and valuation projects.Key requirements:
5-8 years' audit and assurance experience within an established practicePrior experience of overseeing and managing staff on audit engagementsPast experience handling commercial, listed and for-profit clientsExcellent communication and stakeholder engagement skillsCA/CPA qualified, with plans to obtain a CPP in the near futureProven people leadership skillsAbility to take ownership and work with minimal supervisionNext steps
