Senior Audio Visual Event Technician

Edwards Sound is 100% kiwi owned and has been in business since the 1960s supporting Auckland and beyond with professional sound, lighting and audio visual solutions for short term rental, hire and events.

Edwards Sounds needs a person to join our team of technicians at a senior, experienced level. Some maintenance and repair, training and leadership ability, and attitude to assist the sales team during the quoting and show design phase required.

Responsibilities: Act as a team leader and Project Manager for larger jobs, including providing technical expertise.
Work effectively unsupervised or as part of a team.
Provide customer service and maintain a strong work ethic.
Plan, organize, and prepare equipment for jobs as required.
Deliver, install, and operate equipment at client locations, and explain the correct use of equipment to customers.

Technical Skills: Audio/Video Technology: You will have a thorough understanding of industry standard protocol and equipment, Audio Systems, Video Systems, Video Display/Projection, and General AV.

This is not an entry level position and the successful candidate needs to have solid and proven experience.
