Details of the offer

As the Senior Analyst, Data & Insights, you will enhance decision making by providing and analysing a variety of information to achieve and improve key business objectives.
This role focuses on leveraging analytical and reporting tools, optimizing data processes, and using storytelling to vividly present MPP's narratives.
The salary range for this role is $ 93,812 to $ 140,718.
Starting salary will be based on knowledge, skills and experience the successful candidate brings to the role.
Full time, permanent position.
Wellington based.

Our ideal candidate for the Senior Analyst, Data & Insights role possesses the following skills and experiences essential for success: A relevant qualification or equivalent experience in fields pertinent to data analysis, evidence-based decision making, or insights generation related to administrative data and population statistics.
Experience in working with a team to develop and implement strategies to enhance data management processes.
Proficiency in using analytical tools (SQL, R, Excel) to capture and interpret data into compelling visual narratives.
Proven ability to cultivate strong relationships and effectively support stakeholders.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills adaptable to various formal and informal contexts.
Demonstrated capability to exercise sound judgment and actively work with a team to resolve complex issues in challenging environments.
Experience in the public service, and competency with machinery of government.
