Health System Monitoring, Regulation & Monitoring x2 Permanent, Wellington based roles Salary midpoint of $105,270, actual salary dependent on your experience Ko wai matou - About us At Manatu Hauora Ministry of Health, we are the kaitiaki of the health system, providing leadership and driving strategy and performance. We regulate the health sector and are the primary source of advice on health matters. The Regulation & Monitoring Directorate is responsible for leading the delivery of two of Manatu Hauora's primary roles - system monitoring and regulation.

These two roles work together to ensure the delivery of high-quality and safe services that meet government and ministerial expectations.

Ko ake mahi - What you'll do You will play a crucial role in developing and implementing a new strategic, system-level monitoring framework. You'll convene cross-Ministry groups to assess health system performance, identify risks, and provide strategic insights. Leading targeted projects, you'll monitor and evaluate progress, reporting findings to key stakeholders, including the Minister of Health. You'll guide the development of processes, tools, and frameworks to improve system monitoring while mentoring team members. Collaboration will be key as you build positive relationships across the Ministry and ensure that all work reflects equity and Treaty of Waitangi obligations.
