Senior Advisor Resource Management and Environment Be involved in significant water infrastructure projects

This is a full-time position of 40 hours per week.
The remuneration range for this role is $106,892 to $150,906. $125,755 is the 100% mark (including KiwiSaver) depending on skills and experience.
The opportunity
You will be very familiar with obtaining resource consents and will be outcomes focused. You will support the Head of RMA and Environment to lead the company's resource management consenting program and provide trusted technical advice to all teams in the company on compliance, consenting issues and environmental policy. This is not a policy role.
You will get to:
Undertake the planning for new consents and renewing of consents
Obtain consents for infrastructure projects
Support the business units with their resource consenting management
Develop consenting processes
Build and maintain strong relationships both internal and external.
About you
To be successful in this role you will bring the following:
A tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline (e.g. resource management, compliance/monitoring/enforcement (CME) infrastructure management, environmental and/or infrastructure, engineering, planning, project management)
Ideally five years' experience in the area of consenting, plan change processes and application of the RMA and other relevant legislation
Experience in the preparation and review of resource consent applications
Objectivity and sound judgement
Relationship management skills.
