This is a permanent role based in Wellington.Mo te turanga mahi | About the roleThe Senior Advisor, Planning and Performance plays a pivotal role in realizing ACC's strategic objectives by facilitating the implementation of robust performance reporting and accountability frameworks. Collaborating closely with the Manager, Enterprise Performance Reporting, this position contributes to the development of monthly Executive and Board performance reports.Support the creation and refinement of ACC's accountability documents (e.g., Statement of Intent, Service Agreement, Annual Report).Provide guidance and analytical support for ACC performance reporting.Maintain alignment between ACC's strategic priorities and performance reporting.Provide expert advice on performance strategy and reporting to internal and external stakeholders.Provide high-quality performance management advice and support to the Executive and the Board.Contribute to the development and maintenance of frameworks, templates, and schedules aligned with ACC's strategic objectives.Monitor and report ACC's progress against performance targets and strategic initiatives.Improve performance reporting frameworks to meet Enterprise Performance and other business needs.Minimum Requirements:Previous experience consulting and advising senior leaders around performance and reporting.Experience in enterprise reporting processes and accountability frameworks.Expert skills in planning and reporting.Knowledge and experience of implementing strategy frameworks, processes, and tools.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Highly developed conceptual and analytical ability, with the ability to deal with complex and emerging issues that contain a high level of ambiguity.Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical and problem-solving skills.Sound understanding of the wider Government environment and ACC's accountability relationships is desirable.For a detailed position description, please click here. The appointing salary range for this role is $106,351 - 131,077 with appointment depending on skills and experience of the successful applicant.
