Are you passionate about understanding public opinion and shaping policy? At the AA, we are looking for a dynamic Senior Advisor Member Surveys to join our Transport Policy & Advocacy team. In this role, you will design and manage regular surveys of AA Members to gain valuable insights into their views on a range of transport issues. Your findings will help shape the AA's policy position and align with our strategic priorities.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and develop the existing Member survey programme.Conduct sample-based surveys from the wider Membership.Perform surveys in specific geographic areas for local issues.Generate and plan survey topics by collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.Demonstrate understanding and interest in the AA's advocacy programme.Develop engaging and effective survey questions using established survey design principles.Create survey questions using the survey development tool (Alchemer).Oversee survey testing and refine questions based on internal stakeholder feedback.Translate complex survey data into clear, valuable insights for various audiences.Present results using high-impact data visualization techniques to engage non-statistical audiences.Expand survey presentations to be visually engaging for wider channels, including social media.5 years' experience in a survey development and/or market research roleExperience using relevant survey tools such as Alchemer.Hold a relevant tertiary degree qualification e.g. market research, statistics.Experience with tools like Tableau and SPSS would be beneficial but not essential.Excellent understanding of survey design and market research analytics.Excellent problem solving, logic and thinking capabilities.Excellent writing, editing and interpersonal communications skills.Free AA Membership for you and your whanauNZAA Super Scheme with 2% employer contributions on top of 3% KiwisaverA day off for your birthdayHybrid working arrangementTraining available / career developmentWorklife balanceDiscounted insuranceWorking with the AA | Me mahi tahi tatou ki AAFor over 120 years we've been helping Kiwis on their adventures!
