Join a friendly and collaborative environmentFixed term opportunity until 30 June 2025Wellington basedThe Maori, Communities and Partnerships Group (MCP) is responsible for building capability across MSD to support the aspirations of Maori and connecting and collaborating to build effective partnerships and community approaches that achieve better outcomes for those who most need our support.
The Service and Contracts Management team is responsible for managing a range of contracts with service providers and partners and supporting our industry partnerships with employers and the regional contracting teams who work directly with providers throughout New Zealand.
In this role, you will actively provide ongoing support and advice to a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders, leading service development projects with precision and insight. Your focus will be on the Out of School Care and Recreation (OSCAR) and disability programmes. Your contribution will enhance the quality and effectiveness of our services, programmes, and practices.
Key Responsibilities: Experience in the social services, health, or education sectors, especially in the development, implementation, and delivery of commissioned services or programmes.Demonstrated ability to turn strategic direction into operational practice.Excellent communicator, written and verbal.Demonstrated experience in project management and delivering fast paced projects.Ability to work collaboratively in a team, managing and contributing effectively to enhance team performance and outcomes.Possession of a relevant tertiary qualification is desirable.Sound knowledge of government processes and direction is essential.Bring your valuable expertise to our dedicated team.
