Be part of shaping and driving a new, high-priority initiative that will help streamline and accelerate critical projects across New Zealand.Reporting to the Manager Delivery, this role will provide strategic guidance and operational deliverables under the Fast Track Approvals legislation. Assess applications for Ministerial referral, coordinating with multiple agencies and stakeholders to deliver timely and high-quality advice to Ministers.Key Responsibilities:At least 7 years in central and local government with experience in administering fast-track legislation or similar legislation (e.g. RMA).Experience in the establishment and implementation of a new function or major programme.Ability to work at pace, through significant change and ambiguity, and deliver quality advice for decision makers.Experience taking programmes from policy to operational implementation.Degree in environmental science, resource management, planning, engineering, law or related field.Salary range for this role is from $108,976 up to $132,277 p/a.
